The Art Behind Our A Plea for Purging Designs

· Style & Merch

Every design in our shop starts with something from the A Plea for Purging world. Here's what's on each one, so you can find the piece that fits you.

What is Varsity Tri-Star?

PLEA, our short name, in outlined varsity letters over the three-star circle from the Tennessee state flag: a nod to Nashville. The back repeats the PLEA lockup wide, with a smaller tri-star underneath.

What is the Green Thorn Logo?

A symmetrical wall of thorny lettering in toxic neon green, drawn in the style of an old-school death-metal logo. It's the loudest piece in the shop and hard to miss from across the room.

What is Cat Skull?

A cat's head turned skull-and-crossbones, with crossed-out X X eyes and a sad little frown, drawn in flat white like a sticker. Small, strange and a little funny.

What is Plea Is Dad?

A detailed greyscale portrait of a bald, bearded face, with the eyes hidden behind a torn black bar that reads PLEA is DAD. An inside joke for the faithful, and a guaranteed conversation starter.

What is Serpent?

The band name in tall yellow gothic letters with dripping tails, wrapped around a coiled snake in salmon pink and yellow scales, with splatter across the whole design. It has the feel of an old horror poster.

One design, every garment

Each design comes on tees, long sleeves, crewnecks and hoodies, with kids' and youth sizes too.
